Massage and the importance of human touch is something that has long been dear to me, especially for older adults. I've seen first hand how experiencing grief, and not having human touch and care when ill, can take a toll on one’s body, physically and emotionally. Having had parents that suffered with chronic pain until their death is what ultimately led me to become a massage therapist. That combined with my own need for bodywork, has led me on a path of greater understanding of our bodies needs, and how beneficial massage therapy is.
From arthritis, anxiety, to grieving the loss of someone or something important in life, many people can suffer from challenges as they go through life. With body awareness I believe one can have comfort and continue ease of daily living, have better moods and lifted spirits, while maintaining an active lifestyle. It brings me joy to help people feel great in their bodies. Massage is a great starting point because it creates awareness.
My mission is to not only provide bodywork and massage that relieves pain, tension and stress, but also helps each person to discover the sources of their pain. With compassion and careful listening, I will work to make each session meaningful for your life that day, guiding your body toward peace, balance and relaxation.
You may contact me here, if you have questions or would like to schedule a session.
I look forward to meeting you soon and helping you find ease, comfort and balance in your everyday life!
